Which timezone is in the Eastern Time Zone?
The National Weather Service says that in Houston, the Eastern time zone will be in the Central time zone starting at 11:00 a.m.
(1:00 p.m., 8:00 UTC).
The National Center for Atmospheric Research says that the Central and Eastern time zones will be at the same time and will start at 1:00 P.M. (8:00 GMT).
Time in Houston is UTC -0.2 hours ahead of GMT, and the UTC +0.1 hour ahead of EDT.
