How to change your time zone with a simple change to your calendar
When you’re in the US, you can change your home country’s time zone anytime.
If you live outside the US and want to change it, however, it’s not an easy task.
If it’s a holiday or your home city is outside of your home state, it requires special permission from the US government.
However, if you’re located in a time zone that is different than the US or your local time zone, you don’t need to worry.
In general, if the US has Daylight Saving Time (DST), the time will change to the local time on December 19.
If the US doesn’t have DST, then you can set your time anywhere in the world using the time zone converter on the US Government’s website.
Here’s how to do it:On your calendar, open your calendar app.
Click the + sign in the upper right corner.
Select the date/time from the dropdown menu.
If your calendar is a digital calendar, tap the + button in the top right corner to add a time.
To switch time zones, tap Shift+Shift+Shift in the lower right corner and select the time you want to switch to.
The converter will give you a conversion rate that’s based on the timezone you’re currently in.
The time zone you select in the converter is the local or global time zone.
To convert time zones to your local/global time zone:Open the calendar app and tap +.
Select your date/date range from the list.
From the list, tap Convert Time Zone.
From the Convert Time Zones section, tap Change Time Zone to Your Local Time Zone or Change Time to Your Global Time Zone from Your Local/Global Time Zone section.
You’ll see the change applied.
If your time is different from the one listed in your converter, you’ll need to go to the US Department of Commerce’s website to see if it has changed and if you need to get permission to change.
